We feel that our fees accurately represent the quality and the expertise of the specialty work that is provided. There are many factors taken into account when establishing our fees, these include, the type of the tooth, the complexity of the tooth and whether the tooth has ever been treated previously.

The office staff will be more than happy to discuss the financial arrangements for your treatment. We are not members of any PPO's, HMO's or other managed care organizations. We will make you aware of any financial arrangements prior to your treatment. Our fees are the same for patients whether there is insurance or not.

Dental insurance is a wonderful benefit that helps the patient with the cost of their dental work. It is in no way designed to pay for the entire cost of the work. The great majority of dental insurance plans provide some coverage for root canal therapy. The amount of coverage is determined by the type and level of plan that your employer provides for you. Some plans cover more than others. Our staff will be glad to assist you in finding out the extent of your insurance benefits. Many insurance companies pay their portion directly to our office, while others do not. Our insurance coordinators will do their best to find out all the information pertaining to your particular situation prior to your last visit in our office. It is your responsibility to pay whatever balance the insurance does not cover.

Many insurance companies use the term "usual and customary fee." This is a very misleading term and the American Dental Association is currently in litigation to stop the insurance industry from using this confusing term. A better term is "negotiated fee" as this is the amount that your employer has negotiated with your insurance company to pay for a certain procedure. Other insurance companies will not pay us directly and then it is the patient's responsibility to pay the fee in full at completion.

Minors need to be accompanied by parents or the guardian that is financially responsible for the child.
